Treks and Expedition
I undertook a half a month long expedition named “Inspiration Manaslu 2007” organized by "Manang Youth Society"(a tourism-related NGO for promoting the place Manang), for the promotion of tourism in Manaslu, a mountainous locality of Nepal. I have also developed a website "www.destinationmanang.com" for the very cause.
The organization is dedicated to promoting sustainable tourism in Nepal’s Trans - Himalayan belt. The trek is to promote the culture, natural beauty and encourage people to visit this remote area which would benefit the local from tourism.
The trek is supported by Manaslu Conservation Area Project (MCAP), Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and National Trust For Nature Conservation (NTNC).
